It was a synthetic stocked 30-06 Winchester Model 70, and it went for 215, including a sling and case? Waaaaaa, I wish I needed one!

I'm too late. I'm still looking it up. What do you suppose it was worth, and where did your first post go?

Condition was excellent, I'd say 350.00 at least. My first post got sucked up by someones poof button, but I dont have any idea why.

If I saw the post earlier I would have bought it. I missed the auction by 4 minutes. Why was the first post poofed? I noticed in the URL that it looked like someone had deleted 3 characters, thats why I couldn't get to it in time.
Oh Well, it's probably better I didn't win it after getting ripped off for over three hundred dollars on a GB auction. I still haven't heard from GB after three weeks.

Rob, I am very sorry. I poofed the post. The link was bad and did not lead to the auction. I thought you beefing the auction rather than promoting it. Actually, probably neither is allowed, but since it did not show me what it was about, I took it out. Sounds as if I did so prematurely.

    Nunn,
Dont sweat it, everyone makes a boo boo at their job once in a while, and you dont even get paid for this one, so if it was a boo boo, who cares? I dont mind that you poofed it honest, and you're probably right, it may not be allowed to post that stuff, under the rule of 'no for sale' adds. Even though I wasnt selling the item it could be construed as selling, ya know. I still think you do a great job. Next time I see something like this I'll post the link right, buy the item, and then see if anyone wanted it and work out a deal with them to pay for it with the exact purchase price, this was a steal in my book.
