That was cool. First roll of thunder for the night just rolled through, must have been constant for 20 seconds, just kept rolling on, awesome. Who cant sleep to that?

    Your right about that- we had a doozy of a flood in "98" that took out all the homes on the river up to 30 feet, and just a month ago, the flood went to 18 feet. Thanks for the water! Glad we bought a home on a hill- could only watch the disaster from above .
    Can't beleive those folks are going to rebuild AGAIN, only to wait for the next flood!

    There is only one type of person more persistent than those Texans, and people like them, that build on the rivers edge, thats those beach cliff dwellers in CA on the coast. I dont feel at all sorry for them either when there house falls off the side of the hill. You can bet your butt some idiot will build on that land not 10 feet back from the edge though, just as soon as the rubble is cleared away, idiots.
