Might be useful info., for some odd brass needs

I dont know if anyone needs it, I do, and happen to discover it by accident today. I picked up a new edition of the Shotgun News today. On the front cover I see that Graf&Sons and Hornady seem to have teamed up to make some odd brass, among the selection is 6.5x52 Carcano, 7.5x55 Swiss, 7.5x54 French, and my favorite 7.65x53 Argentine. I plan on getting some of the Argentine. I'd never even heard of Graf&Sons till just a couple days ago when someone mentioned them here. They're right here in MO too, thats kind of odd, thought I knew all the suppliers of loading supplies.

The best news in that bunch is the Carcano - this gives all those 7.35 guys like jonk a source as well.

    Iconoclast,
Can you form the 7.35 from the 6.5? Is that what you meant by a source?

I just finished placing my order, depending on what caliber of brass you want will depend on when it will be available. Mine is suppose to be ready for shipping after the 23rd of Aug. I'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I really would like to see an ammunition company who specializes in making obsolete and rare ammo, especially low pressure ammo for shooting in some of the older guns that are still safe to shoot.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

Ryan, yes, 6.5 Carcano is the only brass, other than original, from which one may make the 7.35 version. Only two rounds (factory; perhaps some pitiful soul tried a wildcat) with the same head.

Went to the site; additionally, they will have 6.5 / 7.7 Jap next year.

It will be nice to have a domestic supplier of the ammo & brass for all these rounds. $1.50 per round for Norma is ridiculous.

Got a call from Graf&Sons today, and my brass will not be shipping until 27 Sept. now. I guess things are busy everywhere. They're probably getting orders up the butt.
