Well fella's , i am rather proud that i brought a new member into our world today, I bought mom her first pistol. I have taken her to the range, which she enjoyed, and we found a beretta 1934 that she liked and felt comfortable with. I guess its true, take a wife, girlfriend, child, or even mom to the range and watch the new world open befor them

just think what would happen if each of us did that, onc a year take someone new to the range. women are becoming more frequent in the hunting camps and the firing ranges as are young people. i think this is the way it should be.i have my six year old grandaughter shooting and the three yr, old going along. mom and my son also shoot but cant get mamma to hunt. lets show the world that just because we owhn guns or hunt or target shoot doesent mean we are crazys. the best way to do that is hands on not yakaty yak. carl

I just started my 6 yr. old daughter, and 5 yr. old son about 2 weeks ago. The Ruger Bearcat original I've got them using is perfect. Its kind of stressful though, you can never take your eye off of the gun, for even a second, dont know what they're likely to do with it.
