B-Square mounts for the Eddystone.

Does anyone have experience with the B-Square scope mount for the 1917 Enfields? I have been thinking of getting one for mine, but my experience with B-Square and my Swedish mauser was not good, I thought the mount was cheap, though not inexpensive, and inadequate. I have one B-Square mount lying in a box, I dont want to have two. If you know first hand how this mount performs, please let me know your experience. One of my major concerns is that the mount will mar the finish of my Eddystone, let me know about that specifically, it looks as if there is a set screw on the front of the mount that might mar the receiver ring, is this the case or am I mistaken? Thanks.

A "devil Dog" would be wise to keep his money in this case. I bought on of these damn things a while back. yes it does mar the finish a bit and tends to shoot loose. not all of B-squares mounts are junk. I have had great results with the one I purchased for my Smith combat master piece. As far as the one for your 1917, save your money you will be a lot better off.
