Table & Radial Arm Saw Advice.

I haven't bought any stationary power tools in 35 years. Back then most of my tools were Craftsman. Today I bought some rental property and want to buy new saws. Craftsman isn't anything like they were I believe. Any suggestions on brands? I'm no contractor so I don't need that quality - but something good. I would like something that has retractable wheels so I can move it out of the storage area. One last thing - aluminum or steel? I assume a steel table is stronger but these saws will be in an unheated garage and I worry about rust - I'm in Indiana.
Thanks guys,

It's too late for me, save yourself.

Secondly, if you really want a radial arm saw its hard to beat those old craftsman. I know of two of them that must be 40 years old still going strong.

Jet has some nice table saws, their fence system works pretty good...

I bought a Jet table saw at a yard sale, once. That thing was heavy! A lot of the pieces were missing, fence, rails, etc.
Traded it to my neighbor, and he was able to find all the replacement parts over the phone.
all my tools are Dewalt.
All my other tools are too...but my saws are Craftsman. Except for my sawzall...Dewalt. Best tool I've ever owned.
Radial arm saws seem to have gone with the wind, but I own one which was bought many years ago. In its place I would recommend a compound miter saw. I too would recommend a Delta table saw. They are not cheap but mine is many years old and still runs great.
THat's what I thought. The radial arm miter saw replaced both the table saw and the radial arm saw.
If you really want on, search auctions for a good old one.
