    I was just asking, I wouldn't either, but then again I only use 6x Leupolds too, I want a Unertle for and old military model 70 I have though, it was outfitted with the 16x, how much would something like that set me back, I want a period peice to, around '65 or '66

    No idea on the cost, use the gov't models when I can. I know you can drive nails with the scope itself. If you find out before I do please let me know.

    Suggested retail around 1200 to 1300 clams.Nice scope,a little too steep for me.Am looking for a nice 1000 yard scope,any ideas?Looked again $1248 msr[This message has been edited by SXSMAN (edited 11-13-2001).]

    1000 yds? Is that all? Try the Leupold 6.5-20x50MM Long Range. Kinda pricey but I love mine!

    I've been cosidering an AGOG (ACOG?) trijicon model as the Military uses, I think its about 4x, with the distance/drop markings on the reticle. The one I've been looking at runs about $800.00, but it seems like it is well worth it. I have a trijicon reflex, and like it alot...The only real problem I have with it is the polorize lens, as it darkens the field of view in lower light.
    keep lots of extra uppers for your ar..you can change often enough to keep the thing from over heating...what ever caliber fits the moment..~Secret Select Society of Suave Stylish Smoking Jackets~
