I live in a state that accepts the Florida CCW, so, I sent my application in today! I have a new respect for the state that has banned butterfly ballots!

    So you applied for a Florida CCW even though you live elsewhere?Or do you have to apply to Florida for recognition of your home state permit?

    Lowrider, I applied to FL because their laws and regs are much more reasonable, and, their $$ cost for the CCW is 1/3 of what I would have to pay here.

    Move to Washington State."Shall issue", and I think it's 25 bucks for 5 years. Don't leave home without it.

    That's for the renewal, Lowrider. You gotta pay the piper $60 your first time through the system.As for getting your CCW in Florida: congrats. I just hope you don't lose it if/when Reno starts running the place.

    OK, Evil. I couldn't remember. I looked on my permit but the fees aren't on there.I don't think it was anywhere near that much when I first got mine in the eighties.
