Gamo air guns

Anybody have one of these or know anything about them? I have been looking at the Gamo P-23 Laser airgun as a plinker and a practice mechanism for my pistol shooting.See: http://www.gamo-airguns.com/Pistols.htm As a kid I used to shoot my air rifle all the time, and I developed an instinct to where I could shoot without sights and actually hit flying birds at close range (not always, but frequently). So, I'd like to develop the same kind of instinctive shooting skills with my pistol. Unfortunately, per some of my previous posts, I don't have the local ranges or the time to practice shooting my "real" guns as often as I'd like. But, I could shoot an air gun in my backyard all day long.Any thoughts?Thanks,G36

I've been looking at Gamo's for awhile now, myself. I'll be interested to hear what others have to say about them...

Good Air guns but the "finish" sucks,a little humidity and the darn things rust like an iron nail in the sea,I wish they made them in stainless steel ,you can convert them to .22 short ammo it's accurate as heck ! need to be a good tool an die makerand a expert gunsmith but it's an easy job.A little reaming and machining 5 extra partsplus spring replacement and you got it working.
