Lights in the sky!

At about 10:30 at night when I was driving home I saw these 3 huge lights in the sky, each had a long tail on them and where staying in perfect formation, I could also see very small lights around them to. And the scary thing about it is that they stayed in the sky for about 1 minute. I was scared because these things were huge and it looked like it was going to crash a few miles in front of me.     Gene were you near Carswell air base? if so it is them having night runs, if not, what were ya drinking? I was in my deerbilnd, converted to a hog blind and I am inline with Carswell, see them every night from about 7:00 pm till I leave to go home, which is usually about 12:00am, I had heard reports that they were F-117's, but I haven't laid eyes on them yet

    I should also mention, if you seen them heading southwest out of FT Worth they are patroling over the Nuclear power plant near Glenrose

    No, Dyess AFB. But this wasnt a plane, they looked a comets but moved faster, I think it was space junk, but does space junk burn in the atmosphere for almost a minute? And when I was watching my local news channel minutes after it happen they said, "We have been flooded with calls in the last few minutes about seeing lights in the sky but we have no info. at this time, and will try and find some answers" I swear, I thought it was the end of the world.     CNN says it was a Russian SL12 rocket entering the atmosphere, and burning up. Was visible from Texas to Nebraska

    Gene,A good book (but ALWAYS read this stuff critically) to start on the subject of UFO's is "Above Top Secret" by Timothy Good.It's a fascinating subject if you can learn to filter the "looney" stuff--there's a lot of it and few people have the technical background to be efficient filters (and surprisingly, those with modern "traditional" scientific training tend to be particularly poor at recognizing the "junk").Joe

    i saw them last night too! i was getting on interstate 80 west from menlo iowa. they were weird looking.
    the voices in my head don't scare me. it's only when they stop that i get a little nervous.

    At first I thought it was a B-1 Bomber about to crash, but it was way to big. diver-rigabout how long did they last why you saw them? And what did they look like from where you were watching them?

    On the news, locally, they said it was a Russian rocket. It was launched in 1958, and crashed somewhere around Amarillo, Texas. This was about 30 miles from where I live...They are shooting at me.....LOLIf this is what you all saw...This happened, night before last...

    Okay, I think it's all a bunch of Art Bell brainwashing and here's why I've come to this conclusion. I was listening to Art Bell at about 11:30pm on the way home from work this evening and I saw a very low-altitude green light fly across the sky so flipping fast I almost choked (not literally). My guess is that it came from subliminal Coast To Coast mind control. However, last Friday there were some low-altitude lights circling around in the sky near Sioux City, IA and F-16's from the 185th Fighter Wing raced towards them at a very alarming rate of speed and then they disappeared. I've always been a skeptic about this kind of talk and it's probably nothing but I'm about dead tired after a 16-hour work day and it just seemed like an interesting bit of info to pass on.Long live Art Bell.
