So what is the cost per kilowatt/hr to fill the thing. Electricity cost money to ya know.

The automobile manufacturers have had technology in
our country for years that could provide cheaper,
    more environmental transportation. They have
    protected their own interests instead.

As an example, look at Preston Tucker and what
they did to him. They could produce a cheaper
electric car here, but a conversion kit is around
8,000 dollars. The insurance companys will say
they are too light and a death trap....just watch.
Our government has needed to promote wind, solar
and other forms of energy for years, but won't.
It's only available to the very rich, with tax
incentives. I say good for South Africa. Too
bad they don't have a plant here. Mexico gets one
    first...how sad for us really.

Why did it have to be so dumb looking? Is that a pre requisite for a futuristic design? If it didn't look so euro-gay-style, it would have a better chance of being accepted in the U.S. Of course it may go over big in the liberal homo infested areas like California.

When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....

Judge, are you a hippy or something? You say weird stuff on occasion.

Mouse, you ain't kiddin' about the interests protection around here. A C-130 has a fuel distibution device that can raise fuel MPG to more than double if adapted on a car. Shell or Chevron owns the patent and ain't comin' off it anytime soon.

The problem is not just Detroit's self-interest or public non-concern about foreign oil. It is that to many a car or truck is more than a simple matter of conveyance. Too many of us still get a rush from stomping on an accelerator pedal, hearing and feeling a powerful gasoline-powered engine under the hood. I don't think anyone would argue the resource dependency or depletion issue; it's just that we don't want to give up what that dependency gives us in our immediate lives.

Can you imagine a time when the "500" in Indy 500 referred to power cell life in minutes?

Often the mind believes it is thinking, when it is only passing from one metaphor to the next.

The C130 had water injection system that raised 1500HP within the engine combustion chambers...

In a car that is 200 miles per galon MINIMAL ....

Any diesel engine with a compresion ratio of 16:1 will work with water
injected for fuel as long the ambient temperature is 45 deg or avove.

Garage Hi presure water pumps 3500psi can be adapted for this ....

And I dont see a big pink crank on the back of the car with a sticker saying Crank me ! so its not a gay car (Its a TAXI CAB ) ....

HEhEhE .....PS: Teletubies are "gay" toons

IF you want your son to be gay ... make him watch teletubies every day !!!

    judge-
my experience with diesels has been that when you inject water it tends to blow the injector tips off about as fast as you can replace them.
thats probably why they go to such great lengths to filter water OUT.

That is why you have to desing them in stainless steel, the pump and injectors made for injecting water at 3,500psi ,ever seen one of thoose hi pressure pumps used at service stations ,YEP one of thoose modified as INJECTION PUMP ....with proper injection timing for you engine.

Its simple the air comes in at ambient temperature is compressed to as to reach a 2,000F air temperature, inject water into that and you get dry steam at 800 to 600 PSI that remains as steam until the mechanical force is released and the air freezes to a dense exaust condensate witch is expulsed out in the exaust stroke ......

The "fuel" is ambient heat transformed to mechanical force by the dry steam (DETONATION), study water hammering and dry steam dynamics, adapt
to diesel theoretics and a bit of thermodynamics and is yours for the take .....

    JD

US GOVERMENT has murdered to keep this a secret, now is yours free....

RESISTANCE IS FUTILE ! PETROLEUM HAS TO GO !
