Dont know how legal they are in kalifornia, I own Fal clone, HK clone and M1 garand and I like my M1A the best. Its the most accurate in my collection.

You get what you pay for.

There is a California Legal M1A. It sacrifices the standard flash suppressor for a muzzle break.

Otherwise, it's the same rifle all the Free Men get.

con, for as much money as you will spend, you might as well buy a superior firearm with true collector's interest at:

    reesesurplus.com

They sell genuine Beretta BM59's, as imported by Springfield Armory between 1981 and 1989.

Genuine forged receivers, not cast as the current Springfield Armory M1A. Check your price guides under Springfield Armory.

Oh, from what I hear, the Reese family owned Springfield Armory Inc. before it went bankrupt. Current manufacture Springfield Armory Inc. M1A's don't have anything to do with the original Springfield Armory. None of them had anything to do with the actual Springfield Armory from years gone buy.

    Buy the Beretta.

GreenLantern is right. I love my M1A, I just wish the magazines weren't so expensive... If you want it and you can afford it, buy now, the price will never be lower. I think they're offering a deal where you get a good scope for cheap if you buy before sometime in September.

I know the magazines are very expensive. Are the cheapo 20 dollar 20 rounders any good? Or should i go with the 60 dollar 20 rounders. Yes i do live in Kali, and yes the max is 10 rounds, but i do have my ways around the law!

Stay away from the cheapos. You definately want USGI mags but you shouldn't have to pay $60 a pop for one. Just take a look at how many auctions on GB there are for mags over $40 that never get a bid. You want to go to Cole Distributing ( http://www.coledistributing.com/ ) $36.95 for a single mag.
