I left work a little early last night. And, when I got home this morning at about 4:00 a.m., I heard a familiar song coming out of my sons' room. Not having heard it in almost thirty years, it took me a few seconds to know what it was. When it finally dawned on me, I had a mental picture of myself sitting in my PJs munching a bowl of cereal with my eyes affixed on the TV. When I cracked his door open a bit, I saw him in much the same way I remembered myself back then. In only a few short seconds, I was again a child singing along. "Conjunction Junction what's your function? Hooking up words and phrases and clauses....."
