THESE PATHETIC, LYING LOSERS ARE A SICK JOKE By ROD DREHER
October 10, 2001 -- IT was hard to pick out a favorite moment in the loony left's cop-bashing press conference yesterday - until the deranged Juanita Young opened her mouth. Young is the mother of Malcolm Ferguson, a nine-times-convicted thug who was shot dead last year in a scuffle with an NYPD officer trying to arrest him. Six bags of heroin were found on his body. Young said yesterday the officer (later cleared) who shot her son, and other cops accused of brutality, are worse than the terrorists who destroyed the World Trade Center. The terrorists, she said, were at least brave enough to surrender their own lives to commit murder. "Those cops, when they killed us, what did they lose? Nothing," she said. Understand what this awful woman said: Islamic terrorists who killed 6,000 - including 23 NYPD officers - are more noble than New York's Finest. Not a single member of the anti-cop coalition present to announce an Oct. 22 protest march objected to this revolting statement. Not one. How could they have? Many of these yahoos had already taken the microphone to declare in various ways that there was no moral difference between terrorists and police officers. Others insisted that the Sept. 11 attacks were America's fault, and that the American attack on Afghanistan was part and parcel of what one speaker called "a national epidemic of police brutality." A man from the Haitian Coalition for Justice denounced "the institutional racism and xenophobia which is at the core of U.S. society," as exemplified, he said, by flying Old Glory. Samia Halaby, a sour-faced Palestinian, denounced "Zionist occupiers" of her homeland and the media, who she said are concealing the "imminent failure" of capitalism. What that had to do with police brutality is anybody's guess, but it didn't matter. That was thrown into yesterday's fetid cesspool of the Left's smelly little orthodoxies on immigration, racism, the war on drugs, imperialism, McCarthyism and Mumia. Always Mumia. How silly were these people? Pakistani-born Sarah Hussein wailed that since the attack, she has been oppressed by "stares and looks." A teenager identified only as "Lakeasha" posited herself as a modern-day Anne Frank because a police officer once asked to see her identification. At that point, one half-expected to hear from the Constitutional Peasant from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," the hysteric serf who denounces a puzzled King Arthur in Marxist terms. "Shut up!" says the king. "Oh! Come and see the violence inherent in the system!" yelps the peasant. "Help! Help! I'm being repressed!" I don't mean to make light of the hateful comments the radical crazies made yesterday. They are despicable, malicious liars, and it is important to know that they're still around. But it is also important to know that nobody cares what they have to say anymore. They are not a threat. They are a sick joke. e-mail: dreher@nypost.com http://www.nypost.com/commentary/31620.htm

Out of here with all of them. Don't let the door hit you in the * on your way back to Palestine/Haiti/Africa, or wherever else you think is a better place to be.

The funniest thing Chris Rock ever said: "I've got an idea about how to cut down on police brutality: OBEY THE LAW!"

Yeah, I've been wondering if the black Muslim connection would come up.Will our "War on Terror" have what it takes to scrutinize enemies who may BE Americans?Or will the fear of the race card let the issue slide?

rgrjit8,you must have been reading my mind for the last couple days.I've been thinking the same thing, when is the connection going to come up.I truly beleive it will soon enough.President Bush has made every effort to distinguish between Muslims and terrorists as he should, but eventually in some sense of someones far reaching goofy thoughts it will be linked .That will be a bad bad day.I am so sick of hearing from the supposedly "oppressed" I could spit nails.

Wait a damn minute, dh. I really resent that last remark. I happen to be a member of the most down-trodden, most oppressed, least respected group of people in this country today.THE WHITE AMERICAN MALEWho's sticking up for us?

I love this quote from Mikhail Aleksandrovich Bakunin, a 19th century anarchist who wrote: "I shall be impossible as long as those who are possible remain possible"Under the suggestion by Mr. Bakunin, , either you are for us or you are against us(like GWB said). That goes for anyone domestic as well as foreign.

landis, that's a great obscure quote. But maybe you need to lay off of the books for awhile. Go ride a bike or something. Put down the books and pick up a fishing pole.I'm concerned that you are getting too smart, and it makes the local rubes uncomfortable. Myself excluded, of course.

Since the WTC calamity, nothing has been said by Farrakan the Black Muslim leader, denouncing the terrorist, or even a patriotic phrase to show any sorrow or compassion for those who perished and their families who are in grief. This goes to show us where they really have their minds and feelings for the homeland. They are no better than those who plan, support and execute such acts. I trust the authorities are keeping an eye on their activities.

Farrakan, Al Sharpton, and of course Jessey Jackson. Just whose side are they on, since they havent been outstanding in their support for their country in this case (or any previous for that matter)? I am definately no egghead, but at some point you are forced to show your hand as to who's side you are on. These guys (and others like Hillery, and Fonda,... ect) are walking a fine line right now, and they won't be able to for much longer. And HJS, you are right, I don't get out enough, and my wife says I spend way too much time on this computer thing...

I agree with Lowrider..having worked for several government contractors on the Army helicopter maintainence contract for the last 20 years,I have been witness to Affirmative Action B.S. firsthand.A good idea at one time maybe, but abused to the point of janitors making 50% more than people loading live rockets and ammo onto running aircraft.I know,I loaded them until I could go back to turning wrenches when there was a slowdown in the flight training. That has been changed in the past few years, but you get my point.By the way,the general concensus here at the home of Army Aviation is: Lets kick some butt!!
Freedom is not free, what have YOU done to support it?

DHI don't mean to come off as a conspiracy theorist but...I've heard that about 40% of today's Army is black. While they certainly aren't all members of the Nation of Islam, you can be assured that many of their key philosophies will be echoed by the ostensible Christians among them. (Remember, the Nation of Islam teaches that the White race was created by an evil black scientist.)Imagine a goodly percentage our own army sympathizing with the Arabs, and taking their side, whether outright or by sabotage/intelligence leaks. If this war becomes bogged down in endless Orwellian hyped victories we may just see such a shift of allegiances.Gotta go... those nice young men in their clean white coats are here.

If it's such an awful place to be, why don't they go back to where they are happy? Oh I forgot nobody there is willing to go to work every day to subsidize thier lazy butts.
