Anybody know where I can get some .32/8mm cal gas checks? Midway has them but I don't have a $40.00 order.

Have you checked with Hornady? Will cost you retail probably but don't think it will cost you a minnimum.

They work well. I was fortunate enough to get them at a local gunshow for $15/1000, slightly more than available in catalog, but more convenience. I'm just curious, what are you going to be using them in?

    Jonk,
about 10 years ago a really good friend passed away. His wife gave me his old 1893 Marlin take down in 32/40. Even though it's been completly rebuilt from a junker, and totaly refinished, it's probably my favorite gun. For some reason it has a chamber that's about .005" too short to shoot factory ammo. I reform 30-30 or 32 special brass and load them with cast bullets. I picked up a mold here on the want board a couple months ago. Not many people casting bullets in these parts. 30,38,45 caliber gas checks can be found but no 32's. I've been buying my bullets up to this point, but, $14.00 a hundred is starting to get expensive.
