.22 revolver

How about some help in deciding on a .22 revolver. I used to have a 10 shot smith with a heavy bbl, cant remember the model #. I would like something along the lines of that, I want a heavy bbl, 10 shot cyl and da/sa. I would buy another smith but I remember the accuracy wasnt all that great with it no matter what I shot out of it. I sent it back to smith and they replaced the bbl and cyl but it still didnt shoot the way I wanted it to. I want the gun for soda can wars and hunting. I want to mount a scope on it also so it must be able to be or already tapped for scope mount.

7MM I have the Ruger Single six, came with both cylinders, 22lr and 22 mag, fairly accurate too, I paid around $259

I would settle for a smaller capacity but I definatly want the heavy bbl, I like the feel of a full sized gun and not the classic .22 feel. I also want double action, does the taurus have the heavy bbl and double action?

The best 22 revolver I've ever shoot was a Dan Wesson. Big gun feel, good trigger, very acurate. I think they are making them again, if the quality is the same, their a good buy.
