Cartridge adapters for Rifles

I just saw some of these for sale on PEE-Bay. Does anybody have a reasonably priced source for these. I have rifles in .300 win mag, .300 wby mag and .308 Win that would be neat to fire a .22 LR out of. I remember seeing a guy use one of these in a .410 years ago and I forgot about them.

    I've been looking for one if those 410 inserts. I think it was called the fourtenner. but I haven't been able to find one.I saw a guy buy one from a table at the flea market one weekend about 2 yrs ago.just missed it.Good luck in your searchScott

    don't know how a 22 adapter would work in a 30 cal. but they used to make a 30 carbine to 30-06 adapter.It wouldn't be hard to do somthing like that, steel turned to case dim. on the outside and reamed to 30 carb. let it extract with the bolt and knock out the brass with a punch

    The four tenners are for sale all over. Do a google search. I have seen them on GB,AA,and E-bay.I think Savage is still selling them new???I think.
