tried to p0st on your thread but it said it was closed.I work for a pawnshop in the Kennedy Space center area.( near orlando) I have a suggestion for you.Try the Florida Pawnbrokers assoc. If this guy is a member and you can convince them of what took place they may be able to help you.They have no real power over pawnshops but they do carry a lot of weight.I know the place I work does not treat it's customers that way.Best of luck

    Thanks for the great suggestion. I have contacted the Florida Pawnbrokers' Assoc. I don't think I'll get my money back, but spreading the word about this guy's practices will give me some satisfaction. He is listed as a member (about 60 miles northwest of Orlando).
