    Too many to list. Gotta say though, throughout all my worldly travels I have never encountered finer nor more creative video advertisements then what we have right here at home.

    Speaking of commercials, I grew up in Indiana and then moved to Los Angeles for 20 years, where I NEVER saw a TV commercial for a gun store. When I moved back home here in 1991 one of the refreshing and almost shocking things was a TV commercial for the local H&H Firearms gun store and shooting range, with the camera panning over the stock of guns and rifles.

    Also, we recently had a commercial running for a local teen night spot where the bartender was shown carrying a pistol in a belt holster -- the subtle implication being safety in a downtown night spot. I doubt that shot would have passed muster at many ad agencies around the country.

    These are some of my favorites....

    Can't remember the product, but has something do with a disinfectant for germs....a dog is drinking from a toilet when the owner suddenly comes home and is greeted by the dog who begins to lick her face...

    Always liked the Tabasco commercial where the skeeter sucks blood from a guy that has been consuming Tabasco, then flies off and explodes in a mushroom cloud....

    Best TV ad I've ever seen was during the Superbowl, when a 20 second TV ad costs something like 2.4 million bucks.

    It was for E-Trade online investments. All it had was two old guys sitting in lawn chairs in a garage clapping their hands arthritically while a monkey with pants on dances to La Cucaracha.

    The punchline: "Well, we just wasted $2.4 million bucks. Sign up with E-Trade so you dont too".

    As for radio ads, up here in upstate NY, we've got a guy who has a chain of mattress stores who does his own radio ads. He'll just go on about something random for the first 20 seconds, like cats or how his car always breaks down, then he'll just quickly add his company line at the end.

    It's been running for 35 plus years in Southern California! Anyone seen that idiot Cal Worthington with his "dog" Spot? I swear he must have a zoo for all the animals he's used to imitate a dog!!! Beach

    I love that mountain dew commercial where the guy is getting ready to tee off, and the two dudes on the golf cart launch it like 10 feet in the air across the green and roll it end over end. Man,...that thing has busted axles and tires pointing both ways, the roof is falling off, and they get out and look at the damage and just start rolling. the add says something to the effect of; some people do the dew, or whatever. I am in stitches each time I see those two look at the golf cart and laugh. My compliments to the stunt men.

    A great rifle with a junk scope,....is junk.
