Why do some people like to say things like Blah, Blah, Blah caliber, best caliber there is, when they are speaking about a specific cartridge. A post on the Expert forums is going on about a first deer rifle for a 10 year old. Poster answers that the 30-30 would be it. Then goes on to say that it has killed more deer than any other caliber. Well the 30-30 if I'm not mistaken is a 30 caliber cartridge and that covers a lot of cartridges. Please refrain from calling a cartridge a caliber. Just one of my pet peeves. Thank you.

Youth cheerleading coach Christine Smith was dismissed in September by the Frederick (Md.) Youth Sports Association for a sideline gesture she said was to re-energize her 7- and 8-year-old girls when their football team fell behind. Smith drew a smiley face on her stomach, which she said they found "hilarious," but allegedly three people complained of the unseemliness of Smith's lifting her shirt slightly, to draw the face. I noticed a while back that gun my gun vice was missing from the table, just gone. It stays on the cleaning table, I'll just move it to the back of the table if I do another project. I have looked the area over and under and I am the only person who uses it.
It was custom made wood, with wood knobs. Table looks kind of bare without it. Then noticed a few other gun related items missing, nothing expensive such as cleaning solvent. Bad thing is, since no break in, it would be somebody that I know.

I think a 10 year old girl couldnt shoot a 30-30 .I see what your saying about .30 caliber in general taking more Deer but I would tend to beleive that of the .30 calibers 30-30 is responsible for alot of Deer kills and over the amount of time it could be responsible for the "most" kills but who knows.I wouldnt try to label it,all the Deers that have gone down nobody knows for sure.

Hell on the topic of killed the most Deer I wouldnt be able totell between 30-30 and a 12 gauge shotgun.I know plenty who hunt with both.
