This is an interesting article from a South African mining business site. http://www.mips1.net/MGGold.nsf/UNID/TWOD-5E33NQ?OpenDocument
It seems--or so the writer argues--that major U.S. retailers have fake sterling silver jewelery for sale in their stores.
You may want to bring a magnet to check if you'll be purchasing any "silver" for anyone special in your life.
The stores (major U.S retailers) the writer mentions, buy so much advertising from the U.S. media conglomerates, it is unlikely anyone here will cover this story.
