a cold dose of the truth

We continue to hear wails of anguish from leftists around the world about the civilian casualties. Not the civilian casualties in New York where Islamists actually target civilians.. but the civilian casualties in Ashcanistan where terrorists are using civilians as shields. Selective outrage. To this day ABC's World News Tonight hasn't uttered a word about the Islamist slaughter of 16 Christians in Pakistan.Someone reminded me yesterday of a favorite tactic of the left - a tactic first identified by Ayn Rand. They will use our morality as a weapon against us.Criticizing Islamic radicals for killing innocent civilians elicits nothing but a grin. Hell, that's what they MEANT to do. They don't' care about innocent civilians, but they know that WE DO. So, they gain moral and strategic ground by accusing us of doing something they know is against our moral code. Cold harsh truth time. Innocent civilians are going to die. Innocent civilians have already died. We are literally in a fight for the future of our country right now. Nobody else will say it, so I will. The future of the United States, the beacon of liberty and freedom for the rest of the world, is more important than the entire civilian population of Afghanistan. If it comes down to them or our liberty, I'll go with our liberty - and will do so without guilt. The blame is not on me. The blame is on the cretins who made me make the choice. The moral responsibility is theirs, not mine. Not mine (drach) copied from the Neal Boortz bulletin board, he said it and it is the truth.
