I put a request on the wanted page but want to know how common these are and how much should I expect to pay. I really want one for a 30-06 project.

    I assume this is a mod 70 action and not a mod 94 as both seem to command some premium in pre-64. Don't see many actions sold personally, but you should be able to pick up a shooter quality rifle for $700-$1000 depending on what part of the country you are in. Presumably an action would go for somewhat less.

    they are in the paper around here for 600$ in VG cond. Once or twice a year.
