Hey Guys,

My father is looking into getting one of these "m21" rifles, I believe it is the model SA 9121 with the Douglass barrel. I know it is not exactly the same as the military version but I was wondering if any of you have one? Likes or dislikes? Preferred optics? What type of scope mount are you using (G.I. or aftermarket)? Bipod vs no bipod (I had heard they can affect harmonics)?

Thanks in advance guys,
Brian

    Overpriced.
Have one made by an M14 smith and use the McMillan stock.

They use an adjustable cheek peice, walnut stock with rear lugged receiver. A friend had one, and after I mounted the Nightforce scope on it, it would cut one ragged hole at 100yds with Federal Gold Medal Match ammo. Damn accurate semi-auto........
