Seeing determination on your child"s face

I have found that even at a young age, our kids are capable of enduring great pressure, and not folding under it. My son's All-Star team has been working very hard for the last handful of weeks. After many lengthy practices, and a few nail-biter games along the way, they proved themselves to be quite the team. Their determination was, on several occasions, the deciding factor in their ultimate victory. Even when going down a few runs, they never wavered, they never showed defeat, nor doubt on their faces. In the fourth and fifth inning, they loaded the bags with no outs, and PULLED OFF BACK-TO-BACK TRIPLE PLAYS FOLLOWED BY A DOUBLE PLAY to finish off the sixth inning. I would never have thought an 11U team would play with that much composure, under that much pressure. I am sad that this journey is over, but thankful for their opportunity and the end result of their hard work.

The best part is that that picture of him batting, was taken mere seconds before he launched a ball an estimated 270+' [8D][:D] which resulted in.......a GRAND SLAM during the state championship game[^] proud poppa at that moment, but not as much as he was.

I would post more pics of his great team of kids, but most show the players names on their uniforms.
