A few days ago I went to the shooting range, and since NO ONE was around I explored some. I found some exotic brass, and noticed that there was steel AP core everywhere, in all differant calibers. From probably .223 to 308 to one .50 BMG. I had no idea so many people use AP rounds!

AP steel core rounds wear out barrels at an accelerated rate. They don't conform to the rifling as easily as a lead (soft) core. If you value your rifle,..leave them for combat operations and shoot for accuracy.

why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
