Just finished some shark steaks my brother sent me. I don't remember what kind of shark he said they came from. But, after some butter, onions, dash of salt and pepper, and a little time on the grill...mm mm mm. I'm going to have to find out so he can send me more.

After living here in Florida the past 22 yrs. and doing a lot of fishing, I have found the best tasting shark to be the Black Tip, in the 25 to 30 pound range, Next comes the LEMON shark, around the same size.

If you get one, try fixing in the Microwave,, CUBE, ADD LEMON, SALT, PEPPER, OREGANO, with BUTTER over the top, NUKE for about 5 Min, Excellant.

You got good eating there. I cook it all the time on the grill- Butter, salt, garlic, lemon, pepper, (soak for 30 min. 1st). Pecan smoked/cooked- I'm getting hungry here! Kids love it! You can also shred the meat and mix with crab (blue), roll into balls and fry, smoke/cook- wow! The big shark meat is too rich- need the small ones- they are the best. (they haven't eaten people yet!)

On the west coast, get Thresher Shark. The above recipes all sound great. We use some lime butter and grill it - just until firm. Throw some slabs of onion and summer squash on the grill while you're at it. Rice Pilaf, tossed salad with fresh avocado, sourdough bread, and a cold Anchor Steam. You'll sit around afterward and wonder what all the poor people are doing.

    WOOF.

Classic, you can fit a shark in your microwave oven? My nephew had trouble getting a puppy in there, lol. (We got him out before he was nuked)

Mako is the desired shark around here. Good stuff, usually in the 150-300lb range.

A great rifle with a junk scope,....is junk.
