I'm more excited about the Monday night game, but tonight kicks it off!

So who will win the first game of the season? Giants or the 49ers?

Same thing.. I am at the home of the Tampa Bay Tampons, better known as the Bucaneers, and all they do is trade players to make money, Look at the players they have had and sold for a profit, not caring wether they win or not.

Any way who wants to put out a couple hundred dollars to go watch a bunch of uneducated morons, chasing an oblong ball around a field, and pay 5 bucks for a hotdog, and 3 bucks for a coke. SOME FUN NOT!!!

Ahh, Classic, that's why you watch it on the teevee and cook your own hot dogs and buy a 12 pack of your favorite brew! I live less than 10 miles from Texas Stadium, but you won't catch me at a live game there.

Besides, they are mostly educated -- a lot of 'em went to college, anyway.

I'm hoping Tampa Bay has a good year this time around.

A survey was taken of Pro Football players, all with the so called (College Education) the only way they could get through was playing ball, 85% could not fill out a job application correctly. Some education, HA!

Well, at least they can play ball. And that is a meaningful skill that returns something to society -- mindless entertainment. And they are probably still brighter than a lot of middle managers working in corporate america today -- heck, someone hired ccasey's buddy for $70k/yr based on a false degree. At least these guys actually played ball in college! And I bet you won't see any of 'em crying for "reparations"!

    classic:

Sounds like the consession at the
gunshow held at the Tampa Fairgrounds.

While working there a couple weeks ago,
I went to get lunch for me and a coworker:

    2 Hamburgers
    2 Fries
    2 Cokes
    Grand Total = $24.00

Don't really care who wins tonight, I'm ordering a Pizza and plan on watching.....although I'm from Iowa....my NFL loyalties lie in Dallas Texas, go Cowboys!....Rembrandt slowly rocks back in his easy chair, remote in one hand, Roger Stauback autographed football in the other....doesn't get any better than this unless a new gun is involved...

    Submariner,
I'm with you, except maybe about Rusty. There is no other sport until the NASCAR season ends. The money in racing makes the cars go FAST!!!

I have two favorites...the Redskins and whoever's whuppin' up on the "BOYS".
I do get tired of all the dancing a gyrating every time some player does what he's getting paid to do. "Look at me!...Look at me!"
I guess it's an ethnic thing.
EDUCATION....it is to laugh...har-de-har-har. Most of these guys have been on scholarship since the 3rd grade. The difference between college players and pro players??? The college players don't declare their income to the IRS.
