I had to pick up some ammo for my .357 today so I decided to stop by Academy Sporting Goods.Wel its only been about a month since I was in there last.I go to the Hunting department and what do I see?Academy has started selling handguns!!I dont know if they do this in their other stores but its new here.I like the fact that with all the pressure out there on Nation wide chains and their firearms sales that Academy would pick up selling handguns and at very good prices. They had a Ruger P-97 for $329.00 and a Enhanced Sigma .40 for $275.00 not bad.But like my heading says Way To Go Academy!

Maybe the noise over gun control not working is starting to sink in.
It's still no time to lessen the pressure to restore our 2nd amendment rights, but good news none the less.

Im right outside Foley.Alabama but the Academy I was in was located in Mobile,Alabama. They had a pretty good selection. One thing I liked was they had the same amount of revolvers as auto-loaders which is something I dont see much in gun shops. Its usally 20 auto-loaders and 5 revolvers.

Yup, they've been selling them hear too. They did it shortly after 9/11. I was so happy, I almost started crying in the store. It actually seemed like me and a group of guys I didn't even know were kinda standing back from the counter, with teary eyes of happyness. Its good to know I'm not the only one.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

Read this post and had to pay visit to my Academy Store (Flarda).
Been about a month since I was in there.
They have a good fairly good variety of pistols and revolver's.
Smith, Glock, Ruger, Taraus, Charter, Beretta, Browning.
Clerk said they expect to carry about 10 more model's as soon as they can get them in.
