Old fish poles??

Today I was asked to stop in and see my 84yr old Grandfather, he had something for me. Turned out to be about 20 old fishing poles Steel and Glass, about half of them had reels. All pretty junky looking but I figure being grandpa's I'd clean them up and put them on the gun room wall. Amongst all this was a long canvas case, obviously military surplus. Sticking out of this case was a "Shakespear Silent Tru-Art Automatic" fly reel. It turned out to be attatched to a Montague "Clipper" bamboo fly rod. The rod is three sections and I'm guessing about 10' long when assembled. All the ferrules and guides are in good shape. No broken sections but only one tip. If this rod were a gun I'd call it 90%, the reel is more like 80%. Do I have anything of real value here? I would never sell it, but if it's not too valuable I might try and use it now and then. Any advice would be appreciated.WOODS

Hang on the Montague "Clipper" bamboo fly rod to and Reel worth big bucks to a collecter.Store the bamboo rod in a case vertical with a long wood dowel (if there isn't already one) to keep it from warping. If you use it make sure it is dry before you store it.My guess it is a 9 1/2' or less a 10' would be rare
