Atlanta cop fatally shoots himself

By Ed Brock June 06, 2002

An Atlanta police officer accidentally shot himself to death in his Clayton County home Wednesday afternoon.

Atlanta police Officer Remon Ingram, 26, of Arctic Court, near Morrow, apparently shot himself to death with a .380-caliber pistol just before 5 p.m., Clayton County police spokesman Maj. Doug Jewett said.

"He was apparently showing the gun to a girlfriend," Jewett said.

Ingram had been with the Atlanta Police Department for five years in the department's Field Operations Division, Atlanta police spokesman Sgt. John Quigley said.

Or maybe the girlfriend shot him and made it look like an accident. 1.Lets see, shoot him up close to make it look self-inflicted.
2.Fire another one while gun is in his hand so there will be G.S.R. on his hand.
    3. Wash your hands before the cops show up.
    4. Conceal any evidence of the second shot, and hope nobody heard it.

Let's see, what's simpler-- he accidentally shot himself while he was acting in a careless, foolish manner as has happened too so many ordinary people, or his girlfriend successfully conspired to murder him and succeeded in making it look accidental. You be the judge...just another sad case of carelessness as far as I'm concerned.
