A CA state senator wants a 5 cent per round tax on ammo. Now for a guy buying 460 weatherby it ain't much but to a guy wanting a brick for him and his kid to go plinkin'.....

exactly. This new tax would mean... an additonal 25$ for a 10$ box of 500 .22LR ammo. Or 2.50 for a 6$ box of 9mm ammo. I cant take this liberal state any more...Nevada, here i come!!!

You guys should fight that one tooth and nail. It is bad enough here in WA. All our representatives need to see is another way to tax us.

Just read this morning that the state governments are using the cigarette tax to subsidize other budgets that are lacking. I for one am against any taxes without laws for our government mandating what they will be used for.

I remember living in WA. It seemed that a lot of stuff went up the west coast from Kalifornia to WA.

State Sen. Don Perata is the same one who proposes banning the possession of .50 cal "military sniper weapons" retroactively. Oh, and he needs his CCW permit to defend himself from right wing extremists, but no one else needs a CCW permit.
