Camo uniforms on airport security

I recently completed several business trips that afforded me too much "lay over" time in several airports. I'm still scratcing my head wondering why our fine soldiers, currently securing our airports, are wearing uniforms that are more suitable for jungle warfare? Wouldn't they stick out out sore thumbs if some crazed Muslim fanatic (or Jewish fanatic, or whatever fanatic)started a fire fight. Somehow a soldier wearing jungle camo laying on airport carpet just wouldn't blend in. Over the years, we have developed camo for snow, desert and jungle now we need specialized uniforms made out of "airport camo", complete with candy bar stains, vomit stains, a few rips or cuts to match the seating and waded up bits of trash. Specialized smell camo could be added for the unfortunate souls in "tile camo" stationed near the overworked bathrooms.

Wearing uniforms means the terroist would have a military target and not a civilian one.
Also, obvious uniforms establishes an obvious military prescence.
