S.I. Teenager Accidentally Shoots 7-Year-Old Sister DECEMBER 22ND, 2001A Staten Island teenager accidentally shot his 7-year-old sister Friday afternoon with a gun kept in the family's home, police said. The 15-year-old accidentally shot his sister in the hand after finding the gun at their home on Dewey Avenue in Bay Terrace, police said. She is being treated at Staten Island North Hospital and is in stable condition. Police said the gun belongs to the children's father, an officer at Brooklyn Surrogate court.     Another reason why LEOS should not be exempt from gun control(ie mandatory trigger locks)laws.

    Or maybe a reason that LEO's should have their children in a mandatory firearm safety class in public schools, right next to the rest of our kids, instead of trying to remove the guns, teach them to use them correctly[This message has been edited by ThePaladin (edited 12-23-2001).]
