    Sorry to hear that - has Photopoint notified its subscribers? I have hundreds of pictures with them; how do you transfer those?

    No photopoint alerted no one. If you can't get into the site then you have lost your pics!

    "lost your pic's??" Backup copies of all digital imagines can and should be routinely made. Loss due to a website closing or a harddrive crashing should not be a problem, if you go ahead and back it up. Kind of like oil on a gun, as long as you do it, you won't have to worry about the rust.
