this stinks

old trailer court in Mulvane, ks.....monthly rent to owner included water and sewer...owner is in arrears $23K to city for water and sewer....owners show they have paid all the bills every month...so 30 renters go to big council meeting and owner bill simpson says he doesn't have any money and i suppose because of substandard conditions the council hands out 30 day eviction notices to residents...doubt if you could move one of these older trailers and older folks without either collapsing....doubt if they pooled funds they could afford lawyers to get nothing...seems city gets a cheap bulldozer plan, park owner got free money, and tenants got the shaft...don't have all the facts but at this point seems park owner needs to see a midnight chiropractor for an adjustment

    here it is the night before opening day of PA's rifle season. I got one heck of a toothache and a major case of insomnia. It's 1:00am and we are supposed to get out of bed at 3:45am. This is going to be a long day

    Here we go again, this happens to me every dang year. The eve of the best dang deer huntin season in the country and I can't sleep! So as always, I'm headed downstairs to fire up the coffee pot and while I'm sippin on coffee I'll just walk around the stinking house grumbling about how I will fall asleep in the woods and the only big buck I will ever have walk up to me will walk by while I snore against a dang tree. This is worse than when I was a kid waiting for Santa to show up! Not to brag but I have killed more deer than most people but I still feel like the first day of rifle season here in PA is my first time hunting, ohhh the excitment!

    Ohh well, if I can't sleep neither can those brats, HEY TIME TO GET UP!!!!!!!!!

    Good luck to you . . . wish I was in Forest County at the family camp, myself. Alas, stuck in Dallas this year. Hell, I still get excited every year about PA buck season, starting the week before Thanksgiving, even though I know I won't be making it -- and I know the bucks in Forest County are mostly spikes and 4 points . . . its just family tradition.

    I'm between Huntingdon and Lewistown. This is the first year of OPEN season for bucks and Does and I'm kinda excited because I'm taking wifey who never got a deer and my 12 year old girl. This year should be memorable because now you don't have to look for horns. Just pick a shoulder and squeeze. Should get deer pretty easy now because there are always a pile of does in buck season but never find them in doe season. Now we'll see how smart them deer really are. Doe's think they are safe and will walk up to you and laugh at you but now............hehehehehehe

    no luck today. All we seen was 2 deer, only shot was 150 yards downhill thru the woods * shot. I missed.This is her second deer, She got one in crop dammage season. What amazes me about that is she only shot a rifle 5 shots at fifty yards, we take her out and she pops one standing at 139 yards one shot. Showed me up that day, all I did was miss!
