Since remodeling our bedroom i can not find my gen 3 Glock 17 and my Springfield Armory XD9s.

I have wasted 3 hours today looking for them.

They always turn up where you least expect them. Like in the safe...

Misplace a shotgun barrel I was reblueing. Stuck it up on top of some cabinets in the basement. Donna found it a year and a half later, rusted to nothing. It was so badly pitted from the condensation, the inside of the barrel was done[V] It was a POS stevens 12 gauge side by side. No loss, I hated that gun anyway and was going to refinish it and give it to my nephew. I have it down stairs somewheres. I will try to get a picture of it.m If anyone can do something for me with it, let me know. Oakie

Since you're trying your hand at blacksmithing, why don't you put some twists in it and use it as a novelty straw at the local restaurant. Should get some attention [}:)][:D]

Bought a Hi-capacity 1911 .45 many years ago. Pretty cool gun but my hands just aren't big enough for that fat of a grip. Anyway gun came in a real nice RED case. Shot gun a few times & set it aside-totally forgetting that the case was Red (& looked more like a tool case than a gun case). Looked for that gun many times over the next couple of years (of course not looking for a Red gun case). Of course couldn't find it.

Finally, needed a drill one day - hmmm I think the drill came in a Red case - Hey there is that .45 I haven't seen in years!!

It did occur to me that any gun I haven't seen (or really missed that bad)in 2 years +, probably isn't something I have to keep.

It was the 1st gun I sold on GB.

Give the bores a few passes with a Flex Hone. Measuring the OD and checking frequently with an ID mic/bore mic to avoid thinning the barrel walls excessively.

The bores on my Husqvarna Mod20 looked like sewer pipes. A little work with flex hones and a bore mic showed they weren't as bad as I had thought.

am I the only one who thinks it ISN'T ok to lose 2 pistol in your own house, I'd call it irresponsible at the least.......[V] this is the kind of stuff liberal gun grabbers want to hear.

When we moved to our present house 21 years ago, I "misplaced" a Ruger 10/22 receiver. I had all the rest of the gun in a drawer of my bench, but to this day, no receiver. Probably in the land fill.

Did you add any walls, or change any drywall?...[^]

Ya might have to start tearing out what you remodeled...[:o)]

On another note, did you do the remodeling yourself, or did your hire it out? If you paid for a contractor to do the work, the day laborer may have put them in his lunch bucket...[V]
