Noun 1. weapon - any instrument or instrumentality used in fighting or hunting; "he was licensed to carry a weapon"
weapon system, arm
bow - curved piece of resilient wood with taut cord to propel arrows
bow and arrow - a weapon consisting of arrows and the bow to shoot them
brass knuckles, brass knucks, knuckle duster, knuckles, knucks - a small metal weapon; worn over the knuckles on the back of the hand

    Practically anything. Reminds me of the old cliche during the height of the karate craze: "These hands are registered as lethal weapons!" The idea quickly became a joke.

    I think the point here is that while people talk that way (e.g., words can be weapons), such words have no meaning in fact. Ask yourself: What do the words Those hills are pure Beethoven mean?

    Often the mind believes it is thinking, when it is only passing from one metaphor to the next.

    Since when has the spoken word, Killed, maimed, Words may provoke actions, that might produce WEAPONS[}:)][}:)][}:)]But I aint never heard of anyone killed with a word..Unless it was inscribed on a Louisville Slugger..[^][^]NAA that cant be right, words were there but the bat did the damage..[:o)][:o)]
