[}:)]My wife received an e-mail telling her that she could have 45% of 10 million. It was supposedly from a lawyer in Africa. A man with our last name and his entire family died in a car accident. They had been searching for a relative for 2 years. Now the government was going to take the money. Our urgent help was needed. All we had to do was claim we were related to the deceased, even tho' we aren't. The lawyer would get 50% of the money and 5% would go for administrative costs.

All we had to do was agree to the terms laid out in the e-mail with 'earnestness'. I'm sure later they would want our bank account number to "deposit" the money in our bank. No thanks. I don't need the headache and loss of my money and identity.[:(!][:(!]

[:(!][:(!]I'm sure everyone in the US with my last name received one of these and some with other names will have the same scam tried on them.[:(!][:(!]

Contact the nearest office of the Secret Service, and report this to them. They are tracking these e-mails.
