WENT T0 THE GUN SHOW IN KNOXVILLE TODAY AND BOUGHT A NEW TAURUS PT111 IN 9MM GOT IT FOR $260 JUST WONDERING WHAT I GOT?I LIKE THE FEEL MY WIFE LIKED IT ALOT WHICH WAS IMPORTANT BECAUSE ITS GONNA BE HER HOME GUN.JUST FIGURED YALL COULD TELL ME WHETHER I GOT THE GREAT DEAL I THOUGHT I GOT.ANYONE HAVE ONE OF THESE GUNS??THANX WALT

    Well, I don't own one but SWAT magazine praised it awhile back. I've heard mixed reviews from owners and dealers alike. Shoot it and shoot it often. If it holds up and produces and acceptable degree of accuracy and reliability, then you got a good deal.

    My granddad once told be a good deal is when the seller and the buyer are both happy, not what everyone else thinks. I think you got a good deal.

    Check the extractor pin often my friend had a PT111 as a carry gun then one day at the range the extractor fell out. This happened with less than 1000 rounds fired. Hope you have better luck.He bought a new gun.
