New "Discussion" board

I know this is going to set a lot of you off but......We have forums "Ask the Experts", "Bow Hunting", "General Discussion", etc. How about a brand new one called "I Believe in God/Jesus"?Sorry troops, but I get glassy eyed as soon as I start reading about someone's belief in God or Jesus. I call 'em "Bumper Sticker Believers". We've all seen 'em. The bumper stickers that tell us, by one cutsey saying or another, what good Christians they are."God is My co-pilot", "Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven" "My boss is a Jewish carpenter". I know the "true believers" can insinuate their beliefs into almost any subject but I, for one, starting now, will turn off any thread as soon as I come acrossthe first hint of a religious bent to the post. Yeah, I know, he'll turn off the thread, what a threat!!ps. Make all the replies you like. I won't be back to this thread to read 'em!Mudge the fed up

    Jeez, mudge, you're taking it all a bit too hard. You're going to run into people you disagree with on this board; that's the beauty of it. If everybody says and believes the same thing, nobody learns anything and the discussion gets pretty stale.

    Hey Mudge, Just finished reading your post and have to comment on it. That Saying "God is my Copilot" brings to mind a funny story. I once worked for a County Morgue and have plenty of stories about that job. But one story in particular comes to mind when you mention the words God and Copilot. Anyway, this one day a man was brought in with a tattoo that read "God is my Copilot", just above his heart. Well after discovering this, the pathologist made a comment about how something must have happened and everyone in the room had a good laugh. I guess its one of those times when you had to be there. Oh yeah, part of the irony of it all was that the guy committed suicide. Mudge, I hope you get back to read mine!
