I listed a 1903 Sspringfield stock on gunbroker and sold it Aug. 9, this year. For what ever reason I can not contact the winning bidder because gunbroker.com will not allow me to log-in. As you can see I can Log-in here, I can log-in to sell something but I can not log-in to tell the guy who bought the stock what to do next. Now i have sent messages every way I can to gunbroker.com, I went to the helps section and sent messages from there at several sites, I went to registration and sent messages asking for my name and password, I recieved that with no problem, they sent me my name and password just like someone knew what he was doing. I have went to the Contact us site and sent messages from almost every one of those sites. I have had several answers to my name and password message since but I have never been able to get anyone to tell me what the hell I can do to inform the guy that bought the stock that I can not contact him because gunbroker.com will not let me. If any one has a good idea about what I should do next, let me know...or if you have a way into the Golden Throne that runs gunbroker.com, would you please tell him a guy wants to get his stock and I would like to say goodbye.

On the message forthehunt.com sends you as a seller, it should have
the winners E mail address for contact. This notification is done at the close of auction by forthehunt.com. If this is not recieved,
would call them as the E mailing answers are very slow. Shame on
forthehunt.com for this laxness. Only their billing is quick.

You can have a different password on the auction site than you have on the message board. Are you sure you are requesting the password from the Auction site and not the password from GunBroker.com?

It's hard to tell what went wrong, but gunbroker should have sent you an email with the buyer's email address and it should have sent him an email with your email address when the auction closed. If your email address as known by gunbroker is wrong, that could screw things up. Have you checked your profile on the auction side, particularly your email address to make sure it is correct?

Every transaction I have been involved with, the buyer and I have simply traded emails using our regular email through our respective ISPs (internet service providers) without going through gunbroker at all once the auction has closed.

PS -- Note that your user name and other information on the discussion forum are completely separate from your user name and information on the auction side.
