I wanted to take a moment to wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving. Take a few moments to reflect on what you have and those around you that you love. Life can be hard from time to time and some situations difficult to deal with but we get through it for the most part .. With the help of those who care about us.

I'm thankful for my family and the few close friends that still remain, for good health that I'm blessed with (for as long as it last) and for being here to say to you all "Happy Thanksgiving"

I pray that God keeps you happy in your lives, safe in your travels and gives you hope and solace when you need it most.

Just wanted to tell you all Happy Thanksgiving. Im off for the farm in search of dinner on the hoof. A tad bit too warm for my liking but God sets the thermostat where he sees fit. Anyway, you all be safe and enjoy your Thanksgiving and hopefully I will have a good deer story to tell when I get back.

Turkey, football, and a paid holiday, what more can a man ask for! Seriously, hope you all have a great holiday. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you who have posted about hard times. I hope the good times last for all of us. I am very thankful for my country, my family, my faith, and my future.

To all my GunBroker family. On this thanksgiving, let us not forget our forum brothers, that have have gone before us. A time to remember and thank all of our 911 responders and Military members, that gave the ultimate sacrifice, and the ones that are still protecting our great country. These men and women, who cannot be with their families today, so that we can be with ours. A little prayer for all our Mothers, fathers, sister, brothers and family members, that are in heaven, but are also with us in memory. May God bless each and every one of you on this thanksgiving. Oakie and Donna Taggart.

Everybody have a safe and happy thanksgiving. I was fortunate enough to harvest a 9 point buck yesterday so the wife and I packed up the camper and we came home. Going hog hunting on Friday to get more sausage for the church to use. It?s been a good mini vacation.

A young man named John received a parrot as A gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary. Every word out of the bird's mouth was
rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity. John tried and tried to change the
bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and
anything else he could think of to "clean up" the bird's vocabulary.

Finally, John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back.
John shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even ruder. John, in
desperation, threw up his hand, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer. For
a few minutes the parrot squawked
and kicked and screamed. Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was
    heard for over a minute.

Fearing that he'd hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the freezer.
The parrot calmly stepped out onto John's outstretched arms and said "I
believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions. I'm sincerely
remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do
everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior." John was
stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. As he was about to ask the parrot
what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird continued,
"May I ask what the turkey did?"

As millions of us across this nation gather to celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends, I hope we would all stop and give thanks to our Lord and Savior for the bounty he has provided us in this life...for the love of our family and friends, for a blessing on the less fortunate and possibly a commitment on some of us to do more to help those in need as we can.
Important, also, is to thank God for keeping our families together and healthy. Most important is the thank each member of our military and their families - past and present - for their service to our nation for their unrelenting defense of our freedom.

    From my family to yours
    Happy Thanksgiving

An evil tree bears evil fruit. You can destroy as much fruit as you want, but it will always grow back, and it will always be evil.

Tear the tree out of the ground by the roots and burn it. Burn it to ash and grind out the embers with your boot until there's nothing left. Not a single spark. Not a single seed.

Not sure if I'll be home or not for the holiday, so I just wanted to wish everyone (incl. SWAT 50) a great Thanksgiving.

The last couple of years have been pretty rough on me. But, I got thru um and dealt with things as best I could.

I'm now retired and am thank-ful for so much.

I'm hoping that you and yours have a great day. [:)]

There is an old saying...A man that loves what he does for a living, will never have to work

At age 69, I want to go back to doing what I love to do...Tomorrow, I'm going to look for a job...

But to answer you Question,It's not bad to want more time off...You just haven't found what you love in life as far as a living
