Was watching Beauty and the Beast, i was sitting there and i notice Gastons (or whatever his name is) gun, is there really a gun that had a barrel like that? The end was just snow coned out.

I am not much on Taurus brand but then if they make what other don't it is possible I would buy one.

I have been looing for a revolver for a lady friend and have ran across this: http://www.GunBroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=416105580

She doesn't want a .38 as the recoil bothered her and even though I suggested low recoil loads she still would prefer smaller than a .38. Right now a .22mag is leading the way but I ran across this.

Anyone have experience with one of these and if so what do you think of it for this situation?

Sold one I had had for sale for over a year last month for $325. Hard to sell due to the unavialibility of ammo. If you have a box or so of ammo with it then it should bring $375. to 400.

Is that .30 Carbine? Pistol Cal.? Those were pretty hard to find 30 years ago, when one of my bosses had a SA revolver chambered in it..

.30 Remington. Basically nothing more than a rimless .30-30.

41 nut's price range sounds pretty realistic, IMO. The last Model 8 .35 I looked at was right around $400, and it wasn't exactly mint.

6.8 spc is based on a .30 REM case. Dont know if they are the same length. The 35 Remington is a necked up 30 REM. lt should quite easy to form brass using 35 brass. They seem to be close to the length. You may be able to make the brass using a 30 Rem sizing die. Sizing in one pass. The necks might be too thick and would have to be turned down. lf all else fails most die makers sell forming die sets. They are a little high. The necks would still need to be checked. Inside/Outside. l know this seems like a lot of trouble to make an old gun shoot. To some making obsolete ammo is pure Heaven[^]
