Doing some research on my model 8 D grade engraved .35 rem and figured out it was made in 1912 and was returned to Remington for some kind of work July 1945.I'm curious as to just how much repair work the big gun companies were taking in in mid 1945. Germany had quit but Japan was still fighting.
