"In the Commercial, titled `Deer Hunter', a Jeep is driven through a wooded area with two deer tied to the top of the vehicle. As the Jeep drives by, hunters in camouflage are shown in the woods, in close proximity to each other and the road, admiring the deer. The Jeep then drives to an area marked with a "NO HUNTING" sign. The Jeep stops, the man gets out and releases the deer that appeared to be dead. The driver tells the deer they are safe and the deer bound away. Compassion? No. I reserve that emotion for human beings. This commercial implies that hunters are "mean" killers. It is pandering to the anti-hunting tree huggers.

I agree completely. I signed it.I looked at some of the other petitions that site sponsors though, and numbers really mean nothing.Literally everyone's got some sort of a crisis they want dealt with. Everything from why the Backstreet Boys should be running the country to Osama bin Laden is getting bad rap by American racists.And all of them have thousands of signatories.

I especially like the "Petitition for a Special Prosecutor for Enron-gate".Some of the sample comments:"Let's push the bush right out of the white house, IN SHAME.....just like another BUM Republican...NIXON !!! I signed it, but it was a poorly done petition. Though it would probably be futile to attempt to explain to the Jeep folks about how important hunting is to preserve wildlife stocks. We should pool our money together and run an ad of two deer running off the jeep, eating some old lady's flower garden, and end it with them running into a road causing a traffic accident. Or we could have them starve to death in the winter. What a bunch of ignorant tree hugging eco-terrorists!
