Luger pistol for a hunting suit-A good trade?

I was recently told that my wifes grandfather brought back a Luger 7mm pistol from the war. Apparently, it was in beautiful condition, with extra magazine, and case. His wife hated the idea of having a pistol in the house, and my wifes grandfather traded the pistol for a wool hunting suit. Was this a good trade?

It was probably a 9m/mand no that wasn't a good trade. Go get it back as soon as possable.

If he traded it just after the war, it probably was not a bad trade if he needed a suit and wanted to keep grandma. The suit, however, has not evaluated like the pistol has. Oh well, grandma may have been worth it.
