President Donald Trump signed two executive actions Wednesday on building a wall along the US-Mexico border and stripping funding from sanctuary cities. White House press secretary Sean Spicer said at a briefing that one action directs the building of a "physical barrier" on the wall and the second directs the State Department to strip grant funding from sanctuary cities and any city that "harbors illegal immigrants." Spicer said that the secretary of state also will be under the directive to withhold visas and other tools to make sure "countries accept and return the criminal that came from their country."

The directive to the secretary will be "to look at those funding streams and figure out how they can be cut off," Spicer said.

The White House did not provide specific details on the documents Trump signed. Trump also attended the swearing-in of new Department of Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly. The ceremony was performed by Vice President Mike Pence.

I must admit that I am rather surprised to see him actually making good on many of his campaign promises.

Time will tell as to how these and others work out.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

time will only tell the actions he has made, time will not what would have occurred if no action was taken

Trump is a businessman, not a politician. When he makes a campaign promise, he plans to keep it.

Lets hope DEMOCRAT lovers like McCain and Graham support him.

Actually the law on the border fence was signed in 2006 but Obummer never would enforce it. All trump did on the wall was get the ball rolling on an existing law.

    I am not surprised.

But what had we got to lose considering what we had lost during the last 8?

Time for Las Cruces, Truth or Consequences, Socorro, 'Burque & Santa Fe to reexamine their budgets (again).
Those cities are on Interstate 25, straight up from El Paso/Juarez.
Mexico is a short, 3.25 hour drive from 'Burque; but most of the illegal dregs forge onward to Santa Fe, where the artificially-set minimum wage topped $10/hr. last year, and it's packed with stupid, head-in-the-sand progliblefty meat sacks with too much STUFF.
