In other words they want to keep it business as usual. All the more reason to build the wall and deport the Illegals who have invaded our country already.

I like the threat Vincente Fox made about a trade war.

We have an $18 Trillion economy. Mexico has a $1.5 Trillion economy.

Go tell the High School Varsity Football coach you are going to bring your 6th grade football team over to whip *...and see how worried he is.

We really should just conquer them and be done with it.

The mesicains cannot even control the cartels, how are they going to get them to do anything. They rule huge swaths of the northern states.

The cartels own the messican politicians. Why would they threaten to send them if they didn't.

When in college my buddies and I used to cross the border and pickup good looking Mex women whom would do anything to get smuggled back across with us so we would marry them in the USA. We never brought any back but allowed them to try and convince us we should....that is all that chit hole is good for. $20 to get it $100 to get rid of it!!

The main issue with Mexico is CORRUPTION. The corruption is ingrained and has become a way of life. It starts at the drivers license office and goes through every government office and department in the country.

It starts with the people. Mexico is corrupt at the personal, professional and political levels.

Every participant at every level is one of the Mexican people. They are corrupt.

The border and illegal situation is a strain on the Mexican family that has been my lifelong friends. That said, they, like most all families are split to some degree over the Trump presidency like most all families probably are, too. So, what do you do. IMO, you try to make it from day to day. That's what I do with my friends and family now.
    What's next?

Mexico has so much to offer their people but the politicians have sold them out. So many could go home and help rebuild their country if they could get rid of the corruption

Here is my take on this.

You want to turn the cartels loose to do more damage and will look the other way? Okay, that is considered a threat and can be dealt with in a military manner where we send Special Ops teams across the border to do pre-emptive strikes on these cartels.

Additionally you issue standing orders to the citizens of the border states to stop any and all individuals caught on American soil that are engaged in the movement of drugs.

All drugs seized are destroyed immediately and all money and items of value are seized and used as funding to construct the wall or barrier.

No arrest. No deportation. make it publicly known and posted at the border in spanish that we consider this to be a war and you are an invading force. We ask for and give no quarter.

He states that they will no longer help control drug and the cartel from entering the United States, all we have to do is say no problem we won't help you try to keep guns out of Mexico. Will see him start the backstroke. For every mule the crosses the border with 100 pounds of drugs will send him back with 100 pounds of ammo and as many guns as we can stick up his Rearend

If the US is flooded with drugs and narcotics wouldn't that kill off mostly democrats that support a foreign policy favourable to Mexico.

Just "knowing" a Meskin or 3 really doesn't let you in on the thought processes involved in deciding whether or not they are worth befriending.
nM is at least 65% Meskin, with quite a large number of them within a generation or 2 of being illegals. The folks that have taken over Northern nM have been there for centuries, and their provincial/backwards attitudes about everything have shaped the way they live (and expect YOU to do the same).
They only vote for Hispanic surnamed candidates, regardless of qualifications. They drag successful Hispanics back down to "village-level" status, because they are afraid of success, and will do anything to maintain their state of grievance.
They refuse logic, education, honor and pride; insisting instead to blame everyone else for their shortcomings, while claiming that America stole Aztlan (Cali, Ariz, nM, Colo, Tex, and Nev) from their ancestors.
I only know a few thousand from Mexico, speak their language, and eat their food; but maybe 4 of that bunch are worthwhile humans.
