I served aboard the USS Jesse L. Brown, FF-1089, another for a black man. I was a jet pilot in the Korean war and died when his plane ran out of fuel covering marines that were in a fierce battle (Chosen Reservoir ?).
Perhaps there are a few things you can explain to us mere mortals when you get a chance.
